Ryan S. Heckman Scholarship Fund

May-Oct 2017

The Ryan S. Heckman Scholarship is awarded to a Prince William County high school senior affected by the loss of a sibling. The scholarship was established by my mother, myself and a small team of volunteers. My major responsibility was to market and promote a Golf Tournament Fundraiser for the scholarship. Do to the use of different marketing techniques I was able to reach several target audiences. These platforms included, but were not limited to social media campaigning, email marketing, branding, logo design, and digital & paper marketing materials.

The Spare Kit

Jan-Oct 2017

The Spare Kit is a start up side-business owned and operated by Mike and Jodi Blot in Northern Virginia. Jodi reached out to me when their company website was hacked and became no longer accessible to patrons. I designed an eCommerce website to resemble their previous one as much as possible upon their request. In addition, I also exceeded their expectations by allowing users to purchase the Spare Kit product directly from the website. This feature was not included previously on their old site. The website is up and running, however it has not been published to the public just yet. To view the website and its features please click the See More button below and type in the password "sparekit123"

Franklin County Bar Association Internship

June-Aug 2016

As a marketing and advertising intern I was able to utilize several components of communications into my work. I created different marketing materials for the Franklin Bar Association and its members. Constant Contact, Adobe InDesign, and Microsoft Office were tools that I used to create brochures, posters, email communication, and the Franklin County Legal Journal to which I was responsible for managing. For a detailed overview of my internship and internship portfolio please click the "see more" button below. (password "iup")
